east indian cell phone help

I notice that not many have made resevations for the reunion (see, I can spell reunion). I tried to call Kimberly in Pierrefonds, Canada and was told to check my number. I can call her on the land line, but my cell refused to connect. My skilled cell phone helper in India told me I had to emter a city code. I didn't know what a city code was, he said he didn't either, and if I had any other questions, please call back. Oh well. I was unable to talk to Kim, but I'll keep trying. They are coming to Florida in Sep. for a weeek at the beach, so I doubt they will try to make the reonion...unless I or they win the lottery.david

Herb here............
1st time I've tried a blog. Curious. and curiousiour as I go. How do I stop using the Times New Roman or what this typeface is called? I feel like I'm typing a newspaper column. How do I type in comic sans or some such? And how is everyone? Am sympathetic to you David, in your trials and tribulations with those in technical help with an Indian accent. Not that they haven't helped. There is this great associate at work who has learned from her Indian roommate how to mimic her accent. She is so funny!

So anyway, I hope someone out there in the extended family will tell me how to change fonts.

As I mentioned to David (and Louis in Dallas)a while back, Tiffany and I are not sure we will be coming through Texas this summer. I have these grandiose plans to ride my motorcycle up to Alaska.

Tiffany, bless her heart in a moment of temporary insanity, allowed me to purchase a new Honda Goldwing, (like the one we drove out to the reunion in Denver) and now of course, I must justify its existence. And, the more I mention to, the harder it is to back down. Sort of like quitting smoking.......the more you mention it, the more the pressure to stop. Or in my case, to go.
Later, Herb

Herb,

So fun to hear from you...The font options aren't huge but try this:

*under Dashboard choose Layout
*under Layout choose Fonts and Colors
*the first box has the font options

Also when you leave a comment you can choose "other" and post your name if you want to.

We will miss you and Tiffany this summer but we do expect pictures of your adventure!

Take care!
Jenny

I think Herb and Tiffany need to go to Alaska ahead of time and on the way home swing through Post just in time for the reunion. Herb, this is the only proper solution. Or better still, ship the bike to Post, fly to Lubbock (Jan and I will pick you up, attend the reunion, then ride to Alaska and straight home.

By the way David, if you lived in Texas your phone company wouldn't be in India and you wouldn't have one of those hand crank telephones. Are you 2 rings or 1 and how many people are on your line?
